Every screen in the back office has a guide in this Help center, written for church staff rather than for technicians. There are three ways to reach help, depending on how much you need.
When to use this
Whenever you start a job you haven't done before, or a screen uses a word you don't recognise.
Find an article
- Open Help center from the menu (under Help).
- Type a few words in the search box, such as "count sheet", "opt out" or "paper kit". It searches every guide's title, summary and headings as you type.
- Or browse Every guide, by area, grouped as in the menu.
Each guide follows the same shape: When to use this, numbered steps for each job, Good to know, Top tips and, where it helps, Troubleshooting. On this page beside the article jumps to any section.
Help for the page you're on
Select Help in the top-right corner of any page. The guide for that screen opens in a panel beside your work, so you can follow the steps without losing your place. Open the full article takes you to the complete guide; Esc or the × closes the panel.
Field tips
A small ⓘ beside a field's name means there's more to know: what it means, what format it expects, or what happens when you change it.
- Hover over it, or tab to it with the keyboard, to see the tip. On a phone or tablet, tap it.
- Learn more in the tip opens the section of the guide that explains it fully.
- Esc, or a click anywhere else, closes it.
Tell us what's missing
At the end of every guide, Was this helpful? asks for a quick answer. If something was missing or unclear, select Not really, then Tell us what was missing to send a note through Feedback. Every gap you report makes the guides better for the next person.
Top tips
- Keep the Help panel open while you work through a job for the first time; close it once the steps are familiar.
- Search for the word on the screen that puzzles you: the guides use exactly the labels you see.
- If a guide and the screen disagree, the screen has probably changed: please send feedback so the guide can catch up.
